With snow on the way and nothing planned today after the Manchester City game this morning, I wanted to get out of the house and get some exercise.
I took Sawyer out to the Katy Trail, parked at the Greensbottom Trailhead, hoping to get a couple miles in.
It actually wasn’t too bad out, even though it was only about 15 degrees (single digits factoring in the wind chill). My face/neck got pretty cold at one point, but otherwise I was comfortable.
We ended up going about 2.5 miles in just under 45 minutes, combination of running, walking, and letting him sniff around all the nature-y smells.
Near the trailhead marker we came across a little frozen “waterfall” in the limestone cliff. A nice little bonus.
