A couple days ago while walking, our son asked us an interesting question: “If you could go back to any time in your life, what would you pick?”
After telling him what a thoughtful question that was, I started to think about it. I couldn’t come up with a good answer. I am very content with where I’m at in my life right now, global pandemic notwithstanding of course.
Of course, like anyone I have some regrets about how I spent my early adult years - late 20s/early 30s. I wish I would have been more into the outdoors - hiking, biking, etc. And Stef and I both agreed we wish we would’ve traveled more in our early years.
Later that day I read the article Experience is the Best Teacher, which has some great advice that sorta follows what I thought about above.
