Notes on the book “The Wisdom of Life” by Arthur Schopenhauer
Excessive material wealth does little for happiness. But we must be able to meet our needs or else we won’t have the luxury of time and space to focus on ourselves and what makes us happy.
Excessive wealth leads to unintended distractions that you can’t focus on what really matters.
In other words, seek balance and decide what “Enough” looks like for you. More is not always better and at some point seeking additional wealth has diminishing returns.
