What’s happening…June 2025

School ended June 3rd, which seems like 3 months ago.

I had planned to take the entire month off, as sort of a mini-sabbatical. That also seems like a distant memory. A good plan, but damn life gets in the way sometimes.

On Friday 6/6 we flew to Spokane, WA, visited my sister and her family in Pullman, then drove to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park, stayed in Jackson, WY, Big Sky, MT and then flew home from Bozeman on 6/17 It was an awesome trip.

I ended up working the last week of June (6/23-6/26, off on Fridays) because the weather sucked (mid 90s) and I didn’t really want to spend much time outside. Plus I had a little bug after traveling home.

Unfortunately, when we got home our lab mix Sawyer got really sick and we had to put him to sleep yesterday. He seemed ok when we got home but we realized he wasn’t eating much at all, and things just went downhill quickly from there. I am heart broken as he just turned 10 and we didn’t expect to lose him this soon.

I can’t write much more right now. So that’s the update.
