Taking Inventory - September 2022
A started his HS Soccer career, with several games this month. They are currently winning more than losing, and more importantly he’s having fun! Even scored his first goal on a PK last week. He’s been looking forward to this for awhile, so it’s really awesome to see him enjoying the game again. I’m so proud of the work he’s put in to get to this point.
A also had his first Homecoming experience of high school, and even had a date to the event! So fun.
My mother in law passed away on 9/27 after a long battle with cancer. Even though we knew it was coming, the end came suddenly. Thankfully we all got to see her one last time the weekend prior while she was still able to joke around a bit. RIP, Jan.
We are planning a Fall Break trip to Orlando as a getaway/family time after the tough last month. I don’t normally care to travel to Florida, but this should be fun.
Fall is finally here, temps in the 60-70s with lows in the mid 40s is my kinda weather!
